uFilmFest International Film Festival

The First uFilmFest will take place on February 12-13, 2016 in Kyiv with the support of the Festival Platform ufest.in.ua and Italian production and distribution company Prem1ere Film.
All International and National competition films will be screened at “Kinopanorama” cinema. Audience will be able to enjoy positive and motivating films which inspire and encourage self-development and changes in society.

1815 films from countries all over the world were sent to The International competition. 16 films will compete for the main prize of the festival.

National competition includes 14 Ukrainian short films from 80 sent ones.

There are 7 Ukrainian premieres in National competition and one of them will be Ukrainian short film “The House on the edge of the planet, which had got an award at Los Angeles CiniFest before its first official Ukrainian premier. National and International competition winners will be chosen by professionals from film industry from Ukraine and abroad. Their names will be announced during press conference, which will take place on January 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Ukrainian Media Crisis Center (Kchreshchatyk 2, Ukrainian House on European square).

The official opening of the festival will take place on February 12th at 17:00. The opening film of the festival is an award-winning comedy short film “How I didn’t become a piano player”, which got Audience Award and and Special mention at “Molodist” Kyiv International film festival.
